it's OK

it feels like a warm hug in the peak of autumn. a gloomy sky sure, horribly cold weather that makes your feet numb and rigid, your bones are slowly stiffening and the sky is getting dark just as the day begins. but the trees have a costume change. their leaves are now a bright kind of orange with red tips, they’ve become fire petals. humans are walking around with colourful mini blankets snugly wrapped around their necks, half a face hidden. there is almost a hot drink in every hand and a pair of solid boots to fight the rain that comes and goes without asking for permission.
