It evokes so much to contemplate about, and the chant itself helps me connect with the world around me, with nature. With people as well. This song was played during one of their concerts and everyone was singing this melody. I sometimes find myself hearing it inside my head, and I catch myself humming it. Lyrics are also so meaningful and moving.

This song helped me through a challenging time in my life, when everything around me was moving on and I was lagging behind, trying to catch up, to keep up. It’s a song I had on repeat, reminding myself to get through the storm and hold on.

This last track on the album is so powerful, and liberating. Heard this song played live, and it’s something I go back to listen once every few days. It feels like the grind is about life, about letting ourselves into it, swooped by time and circumstance, and we’re simply not able to change or fight it. We have to surrender, and the song’s pacing changes completely once we’ve surrendered: there’s peace, calm, acceptance. It’s freedom and liberation, and it’s such a beautiful piece within the progressive death metal genre that is simply so uplifting.
