If I’m ever in need of stopping to consider the effect of my own anxieties, Billie Marten’s discography is usually the place I find myself in. Her tones and ethereal flows provides such a juxtaposition to the internal stressors that guide my overactive mind, in comparison making them look silly, playfully guiding them to calm down, and join in the slow dance of her melodies.

I often think the title of a track does a lot of the work in determining whether you’re going to like it or not.
