I’m a big fan of the album cover. It’s really stripped back and has a really raw feel to it. The silver colour gradient just feels like a depiction of the stages of life. If you’ve watched those ‘guess the movie’ segments on Letterboxd, you know.
“And you’re smiling, smiling so wide Uh, ‘cause the newsman just said your full name” Sometimes people love the thrill of attention, they’ll do whatever it takes to be in the headlines. Whatever it is. Selling their soul for the prize full of eyes. This is one of the best tracks on the album. The vocals are catchy. The outro with the piano and violin is a bit classical & I’m digging it.

“Cause I can't, no, I can't, yeah, I can't even lead a horse to water And maybe that's why I've been drinkin' alone” Super fun to listen to. Talk about the last track being catchy, this one catches all the catchiness. Caught up in being too catchy. I don’t know. The vocals and guitar in this draw me to this tune over & over again.
