Little Green
About her daughter. Nobody knew for more than twenty years.
Rhune
Blue
One song on Blue is about a daughter no one knew she had.
In February 1965, at 21, Mitchell had a daughter in Toronto, Kelly Dale, and gave her up for adoption months later. Little Green is about her. The story came out in 1993, when a college roommate sold it to a tabloid. In 1997 her daughter, by then Kilauren Gibb, found her.
