the way you can LITERALLY hear her heart breaking with every line she sings. loved this track since 2020. mitski managed to capture the sound of nostalgia and heart ache suspended in the air on this track. it just sounds like a perfect ending scene of a heartbreaking film. “Does it smell like a school gymnasium in here?
