what song better shows an amalgamation of metaphors for longing than this? radiohead really put their whole heart into in rainbows, especially all i need. i genuinely think this (along with no surprises, nude, motion picture soundtrack & fake plastic trees) is one of my favourite radiohead songs ever, maybe even one of my all time favourites. it just sounds so intensely primal in the best way possible to me. “i am a moth that just wants to share your light” how hauntingly beautiful
