Parachutes

a song that reminds us all to look at the world around us and appreciate all the small things regardless of how prominent they are

“did you want me to change? well i changed for good.” every lyric in this song hits me hard, this is probably my favourite track off this album and the drums genuinely fuel my heart

i love the swing of the guitar in this, as much as i’m not always a lyric person, chris’s storytelling from start to finish leave you feeling something different thought the entire song

very overplayed but will always be a banger, i also think it is a staple for people getting introduced to coldplay and this album so it’s a staple!

again everyone knows this song but it’s for a reason, super duper catchy

the most ballad track on the album and also feels super poetic

also one of my favourites, i love how much power it holds even though its so short. if i played guitar i’d instantly choose this song because of how much i love the way it sounds every time!

i love the layers of this track, i notice new things every time i hear it and it sounds so amazing in car speakers or good headphones

makes me cry. “we never change, do we?” “we never learn, do we?”

such a good closure for this album and the bonus track is everything
