a-sides and besides

a song that i can barely call my favorite off this album, because it hits too close to home. a song with a very self-explanatory title. someone you barely keep in touch with anymore, but somehow it feels like you just texted them yesterday. and somehow the memories with that person felt much more beautiful. you realize it’s nostalgia mixing things up, but you don’t care. you just wish you’d met them at a better time. better place. mentally and physically.
