SOS
The cover of SOS restages a photo of Princess Diana, taken weeks before she died.
In the 1997 photograph, Diana sits alone at the end of a yacht’s diving board off Portofino. SOS came out in December 2022, five years after Ctrl, after so many delays that fans started a #FreeSZA campaign. She recorded most of its 23 songs that year, and it moves between R&B, pop-punk and folk. It debuted at No. 1 in America and spent 13 weeks there, over three years.
