TIME ZONES
This was the first publicly released record of mine where I was felt ‘damn, this is is’ / ‘this is exactly what I have been trying to make’ that clear blend of rock rap pop was all I was trying to make from day one.
I was extremely excited to get this record going and put it out. I never knew it would stay to be honest, I mixed the whole record myself which i usually don’t do and this is a massive regret of mine cause now I can really feel the difference…
I shot content / a main video with my two best mates Quincy & Theo, it was one of those end of highschool moments I’ll probably never forget. I was like ‘I need a dope ass outfit and a dope ass spot where I can shoot a video for this’ and Quincy just said ‘I know a spot’… shortly after I was dangling about 4/5 meters above the air at his families home in an outfit Theo had picked.
Even tho the content never did well the record itself did really well on SoundCloud and is the reason I met another artists named 6ixteen - he just stumbled across it and this is someone I work with all the time now.
The song really gives me nostalgia and a rly feel good vibe that sticks with me. It was originally meant to be a record about leaving everyone behind for music but ended up bringing me a lot closer to people and I’m grateful for it.
