Teens of Denial

Teens of Denial was recalled ten days before release, because of a 1978 hit.

It was his first album made in a studio. One song borrowed from The Cars’ Just What I Needed, and Ric Ocasek blocked it. Toledo re-recorded it under a new name, and Matador recalled every physical copy and destroyed them, in a garbage truck’s compactor.
