2 Hands

This track has been on a ridiculous repeat since it has been released. I’m already a fan of Mei but this song is my current favorite. The opening with just her vocals and the guitar is absolutely beautiful as a song opening, very reminiscent of an early 00’s anime opening OST meets math rock especially because of the guitar tone and when the drum fill comes in with the bass? Perfection, honestly. The string section comp the song beautifully. The song is complex without trying so hard and so simply sweet all at the same time. I really like how there are two worlds in this song.
