i think songs that are difficult to decipher the meaning of their lyrics are fun. is it nonsense? no, at least i don’t think so…but it does beg a closer reading, and yet at the same time it really doesn’t. with such a unique sound both of instrumentation and vocals, Rings tends more towards a song whose meaning is there for whoever is listening to it, an individual experience
