Laufey

Laufey learned classical music from her mother, and jazz from her father’s records.

Laufey Lín Jónsdóttir started piano at four and cello at eight; her mother is a violinist. At fifteen she was a cello soloist with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. She went to Berklee on a presidential scholarship, and released her first single, Street by Street, in 2020. Her twin sister, Júnía, is her creative director.
