Dopamine Chamber

mimesis was a standout for me on the new dopamine chamber album. was almost stopped in my tracks from 2:30-end of the song during my first listen. the entire song is reminiscent of tame impala currents era/ old BORNS when songs like “let it happen” and “electric love” were first coming out. in my opinion, the energy and feeling they capture have had a hard time being emulated since. my very high praise is that i think fontaines comes pretty damn close here. super super excited about them right now and feeling very (extra) blessed to have seen them open for AM back in 23 😎
