EUSEXUA

FKA Twigs created an entire word for this album: Eusexua. “A state of pure presence, a body high, or a rush of mental elevation and mental clarity—such as losing track of time while dancing all night in an underground club, kissing someone, or feeling a sudden, deep surge of creative passion.” It’s her attempt to encapsulate the world of electronic music and paints a picture of the club scene - from her experience. The lyrics are just as key as the wild production. There’s not many Twigs songs in my library, but whenever she releases music, I listen. Her creative journey for this album is so interesting, and her talent to create something entirely unique always makes me press play.

This song feels straight out of a blade runner movie. One of my favourites off the album. As freaky as the lyrics may come across, the sound is very smooth and relaxing
