Squid

one time i bought calamari from this really fancy restaurant in new york city and because it was a fancy restaurant, it was really expensive and i didn’t finish all of it, so realistically, my only reasonable course of action was to bring it with me on the subway in a little plastic container in a little bag that was anything but airtight and it stunk up the whole subway and i felt really bad for everyone involved even though it wasn’t the worst smelling thing in that car. i think about this experience sometimes when i listen to squid, but i listen to squid a lot so it doesn’t happen every time, that would be hyperbolic, and i’m only hyperbolic sometimes. anyways, i think that cowards is squid’s best album because it’s the one i discovered them from but sometimes i come back to bright green field and narrator is just a track that i feel doesn’t get old or even boring at all during its 8 and a half minute runtime. i’m running out of words and tl;dr, squid are post-rock geniuses. thanks.
