Wish

i like sandwiches and coffee and beers but i notice that when i go to restaurants, i order one thing from the menu that i think i’ll like and then if i do end up liking that, it will become the thing i order forever, a predetermined thing like the tube that protrudes from donnie darko’s chest (that’s who i’m dressing up as on halloween, not the tube protruding from his chest, but donnie darko himself), or i’ll end up not liking the item and i’ll never show up again, because why eat things that aren’t good and why listen to music that’s not creative? whatever. so last spring i started going through the menu at this restaurant that everyone said is really good and this restaurant in fact, is really good, so i’ve come to learn, checking off sandwiches with 8s and 9s and the occasional 5.5. anyways, i’m drinking a sugar cookie latte (8/10) and i just finished up a reuben (7/10) and that’s not supposed to be a good mashup, but i have a palette cleanser (water), and finley’s on aux per usual and the song he’s playing reminds me of the breakfast club. i guess my point is, eat sandwiches and drink beer and coffee too, even the sandwiches and beers and coffee that you are iffy about trying, because they might be good and they might just bring you a little joy like my sugar cookie latte. same goes for music and anything else you might wanna try. thanks.
