Something, Somehow, SomedayROLE MODEL So much thought is put into how he talks about this girl and how he talks about themselves. Explaining how even with their clear differences, they are meant for each other in the end. So many of these songs are such interesting but real ways of going about a serious break up. Well thought out Tucker Pillsbooty!
CompromiseROLE MODEL When I first heard this song, I didn’t think this was what he meant by Compromise. This whole album is filled with so many different emotions and this song specifically would kill me if I were Emma Chamberlain. The feeling of not being with someone anymore but still wanting the best for them is what is portrayed in this song so well. Beautifully done Tucker Pillsbooty!
Moon SongPhoebe Bridgers I just wrote about Phoebe’s Demi Moore, and I would say this song is a very different type of listening experience. Still using simple words, but putting them in ways you couldn’t think of. Much more of an emotional listen with so many background instruments. Using metaphors that really get you thinking. Hearing this live was 😌😔
CoolDaniel Caesar What Who Knows was meant to be. My absolute favourite Daniel Caesar song. Such a simple song with a piano and beautiful strings in the back. One of the best performances I’ve ever heard live.
Demi MoorePhoebe Bridgers If anyone wanted to listen to this album, I would recommend Demi Moore. An excellent depiction of how Phoebe Bridgers uses such simple lyrics for such complex feelings. All of these things that she talks about are so normal and are such everyday problems that so many people feel. This song is definitely more straightforward about feelings compared to others. If this was your surprise song, nice 😊 Song is alarmingly real… 😬
