My Old ManMac DeMarco One of my favorite songs of all time. Truly sends me into this deep reflective mood where I think back on random moments from my life, all while the same repetitive g shape rings across Mac’s acoustic. Also, the perfect opener for an album about growth and his relationship with his dad.
Oriental NightfishLinda McCartney This song is funky too. Feels familiar in this weird way, guitar solos midway through are cool as heck.
Seaside WomanLinda McCartney I absolutely love this song. It feels so funky and so fresh every time it’s on and makes me feel like a little kid driving down PCH with the windows down. At the same time, I like how whenever they have the large encore of seaside woman all the instruments start tweaking with all of their voices. It’s a beautiful song and the story behind that album is awesome too.
