Live at Carnegie Hall

me and my first girlfriend went back and forth, on and off for nearly 6 years. we are currently on our longest off streak ever. at times i feel guilty, she loved me deeply but i had reached a certain point of exhaustion that could not be come back from. living a life without her has been difficult, this cycle of on and off has been all ive ever known but lately ive been finding my own way. “the sun will stare down at the street where i buy that beautiful, beautiful, beautiful milk that is sold the day after you die” these days ive realized that the end of one love does not equate to the end of my life. the world will keep spinning after she is gone. there are more cartons of milk for me to buy still. the sun will shine down on me whether she is there or not.
