There's A World
A Neil Young song, from Harvest (1972).
Rhune
Javelin
Sufjan Stevens dedicated Javelin to his partner, Evans Richardson.
Richardson died in April 2023, aged 43. In August, Stevens woke up unable to walk, with Guillain-Barré syndrome, and was learning to walk again in rehab when the album came out that October. His dedication called Richardson “the light of my life”. If you find that kind of love, he wrote, “hold it close, hold it tight.”
