Radiohead
Radiohead started out as On a Friday, the day they rehearsed.
Thom Yorke, Jonny and Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien and Philip Selway met at Abingdon School in Oxfordshire. EMI signed them in 1991 and asked for a new name; they took one from a Talking Heads song. Creep made them famous in 1993. Nigel Godrich has produced their albums since OK Computer.
